CLE (Continuing Legal Education) Coordinator – for prominent global law firm. This is a fully remote role. This position is the firm expert/resource on continuing legal education (CLE) and will be responsible for all aspects of CLE accreditation/program qualification/individual attorney tracking/compliance. **Ideal candidate has at least 1 year of current law firm experience working within CLE. Prior experience with ViDesktop is desired, and knowledge of CLE rules and familiarity with CLE tracking databases such as ViCLE is required. Candidate will be responsible for providing CLE administration of internal and client facing programs, create/distribute certificates of attendance and maintain the CLE library. They will also be responsible for assisting attorneys with CLE compliance – including understanding CLE rules, making recommendations, assisting with appropriate forms and documentation, and preparing reports. Duties: This person will be responsible for providing CLE administration of internal and client facing programs, create/distribute certificates of attendance and maintain the CLE library. They will also be responsible for assisting attorneys with CLE compliance – including understanding CLE rules, making recommendations, assisting with appropriate forms and documentation, and preparing reports. Work with Senior Manager to establish CLE program procedures and processes. Develop/maintain knowledge base of relevant mandatory CLE requirements. Provide CLE assistance, including CLE administration of internal and client-facing programs. Maintain the official CLE, Bar Renewal, and Accredited Provider files. Interpret, and summarize CLE requirements in jurisdictions in which the firm is an accredited provider (California and New York). Prepare year-end reports, accredited provider renewal applications to ensure the firm’s accredited provider status in key jurisdictions. Assist attorneys with CLE compliance, including research on CLE rules, analysis of CLE records and recommendations for individual attorney compliance, assistance with bar registration forms, and submission of extension and waiver requests.
Position Requirements: Must have at least one year of CLE experience in a law firm is required. Excellent written and interpersonal skills. Highly responsive and service oriented. Strong computer skills and exposure to database search - preferably a learning management system. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Knowledge of CLE rules and familiarity with CLE tracking databases. Bachelor's degree. Salary is $61k – $92k+ depending on experience and location.
Staffing Coordinator – For prominent law firm. This role can be mostly remote but candidates must live within commuting distance to the Northern Virginia office. This role is responsible for staffing lawyers on document review projects and legal review professionals. In addition to the recruiting responsibilities, this role is also responsible for onboarding, offer management, billing oversight, ongoing performance checks and working closely with firm leadership regarding HR policies, compliance, legal and conflicts requirements.
*Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience recruiting contract attorneys in a high volume staffing environment. Recruiting experience with eDiscovery projects and HR experience.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, applicant tracking systems, excel and PowerPoint, outlook calendars, teams meetings. Knowledge of various sourcing tools and techniques. Familiarity with eDiscovery lifecycle and roles and responsibilities with each phase. Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency in recruiting and relationship building in applicant pipelines/bench. Salary 75k – 90k depending on experience.
Compensation Analyst – remote – for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. This position can be fully remote but candidates must live within commuting distance to the DC office for occasional meetings in the office. This role will assist with the design and administration of the compensation program for professional staff, This includes managing all compensation policies/guidelines, administering the annual merit and bonus award processes and collaborating with the staff recruitment team/managers to benchmark new and existing positions. This role is a key member of the global compensation team.
*Ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience in a global firm. Law firm experience is preferred. Prior experience with WorkDay and benefits administration helpful. Advanced Excel skills required.
Duties: Review and maintain job descriptions/classifications/salary ranges. Analyze employee job descriptions with grading structure and propose appropriate placement within compensation structure. Assist with annual staff merit process and assist firmwide Directors through the process. Analyze changes in market/inflation/industry salary increase projections. Identify staff below market and recommend corrections. Create staff compensation statements. Collaborate with HRIS team to configure and launch systems designed to support annual compensation planning process. Enter information into HR system for compensation planning purposes. Lead participation in general, industry and country specific compensation surveys. Coordinate all survey data input and track results. Analyze market-based compensation survey results using statistical analysis to show trends and impact. Benchmark staff positions against survey data and other market intelligence to assess existing competitive posture. Collaborate with hiring managers and recruitment team to market price new and existing staff positions. Assist with development of appropriate compensation structures for each geography. This may involve configuring pay grades and evaluating new employee titles and ongoing reclassification. Continually review the market for best-in-class compensation systems to enhance our compensation planning process. Research and recommend best practices for compensation process improvement. Assist with annual budget development and monthly variance review in addition to compensation reporting and dashboards.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other compensation designation desired. Must have 5 or more years’ experience working in a compensation analysis role – preferably in a large law firm. Advanced Excel skills. In-depth experience with HRIS systems – Workday preferred. Strong organization, analytical and financial modeling skills. Proven ability to translate analysis into themes and recommended actions. Strong planning, problem solving, and execution skills. Ability to work confidentially with sensitive information. Salary is commensurate with experience $86k - $121k
Benefits Coordinator – for top tier global law firm in Washington, DC. Position is hybrid with once a week in the DC office. This position is responsible for assisting with the administration of the global benefits and well-being programs. Candidate will have working knowledge of all health and welfare and retirement plan eligibility and enrollment requirements and serve as key team player with a lead role in responding to inquiries and management of the benefits email box.
Duties: Oversee the Expatriate Health/Dental/Critical Illness/Accident Insurance programs including monthly invoicing and reconciliation. Review and approve all submitted Workday Benefits enrollment tasks. Manage COBRA administrative process and act as liaison with third party administrator. Interface with attorneys and staff of all levels to educate them on the firm’s programs and to resolve all benefits issues. Interface with insurance carriers to ensure delivery of electronic eligibility files. Assist with benefits policy renewals for all international offices. Liaise with wellness vendors to coordinate programming, vendor needs and wellness fairs. Assist with the development of the benefits and wellness intranet creating innovative opportunities to market benefits and wellness programs. Assist with wellness communication coordination, liaising with the marketing department and DEI for the newsletter, and other firm wellness communication. Coordinate benefits onboarding for Staff & Associates. Manage processing of ad hoc vendor invoices and payments. Evaluate existing processes to make recommendations to improve efficiency.
Position Requirements: 2-4 years benefits administration experience required. Law firm experience ideal. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Workday HRMS (or similar). Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Salary $75k – 106k depending on experience.
Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator – for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid role with mostly remote work. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities supporting Senior Lawyer recruiting (Partners, Senior Counsel, Senior Of Counsel, Of Counsel, Special Counsel and Legal Advisors) firm wide.
Duties: Correspond with Senior Lawyer candidates to schedule interview dates and times, coordinate information for candidates and interviewers, and collate feedback for review. ▪ Coordinate the processing of all applications and introductions of Senior Lawyer candidates, whether direct or through recruiting agencies, and ensure that all materials are distributed, as appropriate, in a timely fashion to those at the firm involved in each candidate's recruiting process. ▪ Updating the applicant tracking system promptly throughout recruiting, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and document management. ▪ Support Covington partners in guiding Senior Lawyer candidates through the firm's recruiting process, keeping partner candidate experience in mind. ▪ Works closely with relevant members of firm leadership and firm administration to provide status updates with respect to individual candidate processes, issues, and timing. Under the guidance of the Executive Committee and the Senior Director of Legal Recruiting, facilitate the collection of onboarding materials, including conflict forms and background check forms, and coordinate with an appropriate counterpart in Human Resources to facilitate transition. ▪ Draft arrival memos and orientation schedules and coordinate with HR to confirm and finalize other onboarding items. ▪ Assisting the Senior Director of Legal Recruiting with special projects as needed.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of three years legal recruiting experience in a law firm required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong service orientation. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong MS Office and Excel skills needed. Experience with viRecruit is ideal. Salary range is $86k-$121k, non-exempt.
Legal Recruiting Manager – for top tier law firm in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for non-partner attorney recruitment. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the DC office.
Duties: Oversee the law student recruiting process and summer associate programs in Washington, DC, New York, New Jersey, Houston, and Connecticut. Develop/maintain relationships with law school career services offices and student organizations to coordinate participation and sponsorship of outreach activities. Lead the 1L and 2L law student recruiting process from screening interviews/on-campus recruiting to facilitating the callback interview and offer process. Manage planning/execution of the summer associate program including the work assignment and evaluation processes, and events. Support the Hiring Partner and Recruiting Committee to develop and implement hiring strategies and contribute to the development of firm-wide law student recruiting processes and policies. Collaborate with Recruiting, Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Legal Personnel team members to create a seamless and efficient approach to recruiting/onboarding/integration.Communicate with practice group leaders and practice management professionals across the firm to get a clear view of lateral associate hiring needs and firm goals; draft job descriptions and gain approval on searches; provide suggestions on sourcing talent that aligns with the needs of the relevant practice group. Oversee the full recruitment cycle for lateral associate candidates firm wide. Work closely with Director of Diversity & Inclusion to strategically recruit and successfully integrate and retain diverse talent. Proactively source candidates to build a diverse talent pipeline.

Excellent judgment, including sensitivity to confidential information. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. Strong computer skills, MS Office Suite preferred, as well as web application and database experience is required. Experience with MS Teams and viDesktop is a plus. Salary is $140k - $150k
