DEI Business Analyst – for prominent global law firm. This role is hybrid, with mostly remote work and can be located near the DC, NYC, Los Angeles or San Francisco office. This role is responsible for maintaining consistent data sources, strong process documentation, responding to industry benchmarking surveys, extracting insights from disparate data sources, and providing quality assurance review of final deliverables.
Duties: Conduct data analysis to extract meaningful insights/trends from multiple data sources. Ensure accuracy/quality of data with thorough validation/data cleaning. Create visually engaging reports/dashboards to convey complex data clearly utilizing Excel, Tableau, or similar. Seek opportunities to improve data processes. Prepare clearly written responses to industry survey requests regarding DEI policies/initiatives. Prioritize and manage multiple data requests, ensuring deadlines are met. Liaise between DEI team and internal stakeholders to define DEI project/request requirements, scopes, and objectives. Maintain DEI project/request tracking to monitor workflow. Report project risks/outcomes to appropriate team leadership.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. Certification or coursework in data analytics or data science ideal. Must have at least 2 years relevant experience in quantitative analysis leveraging tools like Excel and SQL – this can include internships. Prior project management experience preferred. Detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex concepts clearly. Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management. Strong judgment; ability to deal discreetly with confidential information. Cross-cultural skills and awareness. Experience in a professional services and/or law firm a strong plus. Salary range is $89k - $131k commensurate with experience and location.
Legal Recruiting Assistant – for top tier law firm in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid role with mostly remote work. This role provides administrative support for the legal recruiting team and works closely with the Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting.
Duties: Assists with organizing the Summer Associate Program, including scheduling orientation and exit interviews. Assist with social events and training programs. Assists with all aspects of the recruiting season and “on-campus” interview process, including registering for on-campus interview programs, resume collect programs and job fairs, maintaining on-campus interview and candidate files, preparing for hiring partner meetings, scheduling candidate interviews and “second look” visits, and post-offer recruiting events. Assists with organization of lateral associate and judicial clerk candidate applications, including preparing summaries of candidates for review and corresponding with select search firms. Maintain legal recruiting database, viRecruit, and all candidate files. Coordinate payments for travel expenses for candidates and associate hires.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent attention to detail/strong organizational skills. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong service orientation, ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Able to work well with multiple deadlines. Flexibility for OT as needed from May through July during the busy recruiting season. The salary range is $54k -$76k depending on experience.
