Staff Attorneys - For very busy and highly regarded global law firm in Washington DC. Staff Attorneys work on teams involved in document review and production projects. Candidates must be currently DC barred and have strong document review experience including QC and priv experience.

Duties:Review, analyze, categorize, and, as appropriate, annotate and/or redact documents and other informational materials in document review database systems, and/or hard-copy document collections. Assist in preparation of privilege and redaction logs and other similar tasks attendant to document review and production projects. As needed draft outlines and memoranda relating to the fact discovery issues and findings. Assist with the review quality control and review metrics reporting processes as needed. Work with the Firm’s litigation support staff and/or e-discovery vendors to help resolve any operational issues with the document collections, databases and review systems in use.

Position requirements: At least one year of document review experience within or for an AMLAW 100 or 200 firm working on large litigation, investigation, or arbitration matters. Current good standing with the DC Bar. Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and a strong service orientation; excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of a discovery document review projects’ purpose and typical work-flows, and a thorough understanding of the rules and application of attorney-client and work product privilege. Significant experience with on-line document review systems such as Relativity, Documatrix, FTI’s Ringtail, or other similar modern document review software tools. Flexibility to work overtime as necessary. Salary 80k plus paid OT and benefits.

Attorney – Litigation - Remote.  For highly regarded law firm specifically focused on data privacy, data security eDiscovery, and information governance. Work will be for regional/national/global clients providing innovative, and cost-effective solutions in the eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy service markets.  **Ideal candidates has five years of experience practicing law with a strong interest in eDiscovery, information governance, and privacy. **Must have a minimum of five years of commercial litigation experience. 

Position Requirements: Must have a minimum of five years of commercial litigation experience drafting briefs, motions, and pleadings, taking, and defending depositions, arguing motions, witness interviews, drafting discovery requests, and related litigation experience. **Admission to the bar in a least one of the following jurisdictions is required: California, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, DC. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Successful experience working in and with remote teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues. Motivation to learn and understand technology and findings, effectively discuss those issues with technically skilled individuals, and convey findings for people without technology experience. Strong judgment and the ability to apply legal knowledge to problem solve by developing practical business solutions. Salary $130k - $175k commensurate with experience.
