Conference Center Technology Specialist – This position is responsible for providing the highest level of professional service to the users of the Conference Center for this prominent law firm in Washington, DC. This is a fast paced position and the Conference Center is used for a large number of meetings, seminars, continuing legal education, depositions, video conferences and large events. The ideal candidate for this position is highly experienced and remains calm in high pressure situations.  The ability to interact professionally with all to ensure seamless and timely execution of meetings, and special events. Responsibilities include a thorough understanding of the hardware and software platforms for troubleshooting and configuration. This position functions as the local technology lead for day-to-day operations. This position requires strong analytical and AV troubleshooting skills as well as superior interpersonal communication skills.  Candidate should be able to quickly assess situations and proactively to ensure customer/client satisfaction.  Candidate is responsible for running the local Conference Technology Department and will work closely with the Conference Technology Manager making sure that a consistent high level of service is provided.  Candidate will set-up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot all built-in and portable Conference Technology systems including: provide daily activity report to the Conference Technology Manager; produce monthly reports; set up and test video conferences with the video conference specialist; set up audio conferences (microphones, sound systems, speakerphones, conference calls); set up visiting attorney offices; set up presentation equipment; maintain coordination with the Conference Technology team in HQ office; perform system maintenance and work with vendors; general knowledge and troubleshooting of the firm’s standard applications such as Lotus Notes, Outlook 2007, Microsoft Office Suite, DMS, Microsoft PowerPoint.  Position Requirements:  At least 5 years of prior successful AV experience in a conference center environment, current InfoComm CTS certification, and flexibility for occasional overtime when necessary. Proficiency in core application suite, PC troubleshooting skills, ability to set up and operate and troubleshoot AV systems, experience developing event work flow plans, experience providing technical expertise to projects, basic project management skills.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

Programmer Analyst 3 - DMS – for global law firm in Washington, DC.This position is responsible for designing and programming database- driven solutions for networked and wireless business applications spanning the Firm’s global offices.** The focus for this position is on designing and developing database-driven solutions (applications) and administering to and developing in the SQL Server (2008-2016).Candidates will need experience managing and administering a document manage system, specifically iManage. Experience with Netdocs or iManage cloud would be ideal. Prior experience mapping from a database center to web API's preferred.System development will be accomplished using a wide range of Microsoft tools and products including Visual Studio.Net, MS SQL, and SharePoint. Full lifecycle responsibility, from initial design through implementation, including on-going support, is expected.As part of the application development Team, the successful candidate will consult on, design, program and implement solutions for information management, workflow and knowledge management serving the Firm's practice groups and administrative departments.This includes maintaining and supporting existing internal SharePoint websites and applications, designing and implementing improvements to various systems, and integrating and customizing third-party software within our existing application environment.

Position Requirements:  Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) for Microsoft .NET preferred, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous law firm or professional services experience a must.

6-8 years’ experience / application development with MS Technologies (ASP.NET, C#, XML/XSL, .NET Frameworks, web services and SQL Server), VB Script and JAVA Script, with demonstrated recent ability to design, develop and deploy business applications.

Experience administering to and developing in SQL Server 2008 - 2016

Strong MS SQL and T-SQL skills; experience with SSRS a plus.

Ability to design/develop solutions to business problems including workflow and information management systems.

Ability to support third party legal or business applications including docketing, forms generation, legal recruiting, legal research, document management and conference scheduling.

Thorough understanding of application lifecycle process.

Experience managing and administering a document management system such as iManage.

Experience managing and administering an ethical walls system specifically Wallbuilder.

Experience managing and administering intellectual property system specifically PATTYS WAVE.

HRIS Sr. Systems Analyst - for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. **Interested candidates please respond with a copy of your resume.This position will work closely with the Human Resources team regarding HRIS technology and is part of the Financial Systems, Reporting and Analysis Group.Ideal candidate has a strong HR technical background with skills in report writing and creating custom reports. Prior experience with Workday required.Candidate will be a technical point of contact and will assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required, 7+ years HR system administration/support experience required; experience maintaining system and business functions in complex and global environments, understanding of HR business processes and how to maximize use of HRIS technology, technical/programming skills required; proficiency with Workday, MS Access, Transact-SQL, Cognos, Crystal Reports or other report writing software required, understanding of HR System database design including table structures, business rules, functions, and processes; experience with database tools, proven success managing technology projects with responsibility for project planning, requirements gathering, change management, business process change, and delivery coordination, proven success working with large amounts of data, ensuring data integrity throughout the system and any associated data feeds from other sources; demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, strong interpersonal and written communication skills required.Salary is commensurate with experience. 

SharePoint Administrator – for global law firm in Washington, DC.This position is responsible for administration and maintenance of a 24/7 SharePoint 2010/2013 farm and Office 365 collaboration portal.Ideal candidate has experience as a SharePoint Administrator/Architect with proven S/P troubleshooting skills and experience restoring a SharePoint farm.Candidate will ensure the reliability of SharePoint 2010/2013, Office 365 and other enterprise application systems. Some of the duties for this position: Analyze and resolve problems related to performance, data, software, servers, and usage, maintain software, patches, releases notes, and other relevant information for SharePoint and related services/servers support secure document collaboration via Office 365 online portal, maintain security for SharePoint servers, services, and applications, create sites, templates, workflows, lists and libraries to support initiatives, test and deploy new applications to ensure proper integration, assist in creating training materials for users of all experience levels, provide tier II technical support as part of the Firm’s escalation procedures.Candidate will be working in three environments: Intranet, Collaboration Site (internal) and External Collaboration Site (Office 365). Share Point is the central hub for all applications. The firm is expanding the footprint; growing reusable apps and migrating from 2010 to 2016 shortly. Candidate will assist with the migration effort and upgrade. Strong MS background required; ideal experience with lots of variety and version experience with technologies. This is less of a development job and more of administrative – candidate will be architecting SharePoint solutions.

Position Requirements: College degree required, technical discipline preferred, must have at least 3 years of experience building and administering SharePoint 2010, prior experience supporting enterprise level applications, preferably in a law firm or legal environment, experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud-based hosting services, (Certifications are not required but would be a big plus.) Manager of Application Development for top tier law firm in Washington, DC.  This position is responsible for managing a team of application developers and business analysts.  Candidate will oversee design, development, testing, implementation, and support of in-house custom applications supporting needs of Firm business units. The Manager implements policies and procedures ensuring successful solutions are delivered in a timely manner.  Duties include:  managing a team of application developers responsible for designing, testing, documentation, delivery, and support of in-house customized applications including Intranet, Extranet, web applications, SharePoint applications, and mobile applications; managing a team of business analysts who gather requirements, workflows; and accurately define functional and technical requirements of the users for their application needs; overseeing development and enforcement of coding standards and conventions, change and source control, best practices, technical documentation, and deployment methods; establishing compliance of a structured software development life cycle methodology (SDLC) tailored to the firm’s needs; assessing existing application effectiveness and efficiency; research on emerging technologies ensuring the most effective development applications tools and methodologies are implemented; provide leadership and mentoring to staff.  Position Requirements: Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience managing an application development team, 10+ years of experience in application design and coding as a software developer/Architect, 3+ years of experience in project and program management, Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree in IT discipline preferred, .

Director, Information Security Governance/Compliance – for global law firm Washington, DC.  This position is responsible for the overall security program including information security policies, compliance and governance. Candidate will be responsible for developing long-term security strategies and ensuring all firm security standards regulatory expectations are met.  The Director will also provide leadership and strategy to remain successful with the ever changing market conditions. Responsibilities for this position: Development of enterprise information security strategy and best practices supporting information security architecture; develop test plans for all phases of unit testing, acceptance testing and acceptance testing and implementation of projects related to information security; team up with key business and Technology leaders to develop security and business continuance standards and action plans; manage creation of compliance procedures and documentation for internal information security procedures; oversight of process to collect and provide evidence for client and Firm questionnaire, audit, and incident investigations; leadership for defensive technology and processes including intrusion detection, proactive hunting and analytics, incident handling, vulnerability assessments, and remediation; manage incident response planning as well as investigation of security breaches and disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches; produce and maintain an education and security awareness program on information security and privacy matters for attorneys and staff. Position Requirements:

Senior Network Engineer (Storage) - for global law firm in Washington, DC.  This position is responsible for configuring, maintaining and upgrading network systems, and assisting with long range planning for upgrades and deployment of computer systems. This position requires project planning and coordination start to finish for such.  Duties: manage/upgrade NetApp and HP SANs, VMware ESXi 5.5 and 6 virtualization environments firm-wide; production, support, and deployment of new projects for storage and Virtual Environment needs; collect storage requirements and architect appropriate highly available design, troubleshoot performance problems in existing NetApp storage array; provide production support for break fix and performance issues on storage and server infrastructure. Candidate should have strong knowledge of blade infrastructure for server hardware such as Cisco UCS and HP blades. Responsibilities include: Implementation Support - Design, plan, and set up storage in a Windows NetApp SAN environment (disk layout, RAID levels, etc.) to ensure performance and data availability; configure/maintain/upgrade firm wide SAN and VMware capabilities including all applicable applications used for both storage and backup requirements.  This position is the designated contact and liaison with third party providers of applications and services and performs storage and server capacity planning, monitoring, and tuning of the infrastructure on a constant basis to improve the performance and responsiveness of the Firm's Enterprise compute and storage infrastructure.  Position Requirements:  Ideal candidate has advanced level knowledge and experience with NetApp and HP SANs, expert level knowledge and experience with VMware hypervisor version 5.5 and above, advanced knowledge with array based replication (SRA) and SRM. advanced experience with network management tools such as-Riverbed Optnet, Netflow, Wireshark, Cisco Prime, VMware vSphere, vCenter SRM, VCOPS , Microsoft SCCM 2012, etc., highest level experience with Windows Server versions 2008- 2012 R2, 2016 Windows IIS Server 7, highest level competence in the Operating systems in use by the Firm (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008- 2016), expert level competence in configuring, managing and upgrading, load balancing NetApp SANs, snap mirror and snapshot technologies in C-mode and 7 mode, highest level knowledge of Windows Active Directory and related services such as DNS, BIND, DHCP, Group Policy, Kerberos, KCD, and LDAP,  Demonstrated experience in utility automation scripting and programming using PowerShell, VBScript, or .NET. Prior law firm experience in an IT support role is required. BS in Computer Science or MIS strong preferred, MCSE with 4-6 years support experience with Microsoft Windows 2003 and later required, Certifications in: NetApp Storage, VMware required, Minimum of NCSA (NetApp Certified Storage Associate), NCDA (NetApp certified Data Administrator) preferred with 4 - 6 years of experience.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
