Information Security Analyst – for global law firm in Washington, DC.  This position is part of the Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance Group and candidate will work closely with the Director to provide service ensuring compliance with information security policy and procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining continuous monitoring of activities while performing threat detection and remediation.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform technology risk assessment activities

Conduct information security training, awareness, and outreach activities.

Perform technology platform vulnerability scanning activities.

Prepare assessment report results reflecting vulnerability, compliance, and data risks identified.

Track resolution of identified information security issues.

Analyze audit logs for exceptions to policy.

Maintain inventory of exceptions to Information Security policy, standard, control, and configuration requirements for reporting to clients.

Assist with information security incident response activities.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (computer science, information systems, or related) ideal

2+ years of experience in an information security professional role.

Knowledge of security issues, techniques,  and implications across computing platforms.

Knowledge of ISO 27001:2013 control framework.

Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.

Knowledge of information security policy, standards, and industry best practices.

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, professional attitude, and strong references.

Manager of Financial Enterprise Systems – for HQ office of global law firm.  This position is responsible for the full application lifecycle, and will oversee specification, design, development, implementation, and operational support of all aspects of the firm’s financial solutions (Elite 3E) and several other systems, including ChromeRiver and the new business intake system.  Candidate will implement application solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations and streamline legal work.  This position facilitates project management for systems development and enhancement, including relevant business analysis, drafting of requirements documentation, system design and architecture, development of project plans and timelines, testing, and management of end-user expectations.  This applies to custom solutions and commercial-off-the-shelf products.

This position will manage a team of programming analysts and also function as liaison to internal customers; engaging with them to understand business needs and anticipate requirements.    

Position Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred, Certification in Microsoft Cloud services is ideal

7+ years of experience managing information systems and teams of developers

Significant experience in a large firm setting, ideally a law firm or similar professional services firm 

Prior experience maintaining/supporting Thomson’s Elite 3E infrastructure

Prior experience working with IDE, EDG, and Biztalk to create customizations, reports, and integrations

Background in integrating third-party systems and custom built solutions with 3E.

Experience with expense and invoicing solutions such as Chrome River, specifically using automated processes to load reference data and extract transactions for posting into 3E

Experience working with Intapp Open to support the conflicts clearance and new business intake processes

Fluency with ETL tools such as Integration Builder and writing MSSQLServer stored procedures to extract data for reporting and other systems

Prior success improving user experience in a professional services firm

Experience applying waterfall and agile methodologies in developing customs solutions as needed

Proven project management skills required

Senior Systems Analyst (WORKDAY) – for prominent global firm in Washington, DC.  This position is responsible for support/maintenance of Workday, the HRIS system. Candidate will be the technical lead regarding providing application support for software utilized by HR and Payroll departments.  Duties for this position include:  Software/Application Support, Customer Service/Production Support; such as back-office and end-user support, Reporting, Data Integrity/Management, and Process Improvement.  Position Requirements:               Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or IT related concentration required, 2+ years in similar position, proficiency with Workday required, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, analytic and problem solving skills, ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.  Salary is commensurate with experience. 

Senior Analyst, Litigation Support – For Highly regarded law firm. This position is responsible for general litigation technology support to case teams and serves as liaison between attorneys, paralegals, internal support groups and outside service providers. Candidate will function as hands-on technical expert, performing data intake and manipulation tasks required by their cases. Some of the duties for this position include: assisting attorneys and paralegals regarding case needs to identify discovery document management tools and solutions for transcripts, pleadings and correspondence. The Senior Analyst will plan, schedule and budget for case specific support such as document collection, processing, review, production and trial; advises case teams on Firm’s Best Practices for managing electronic discovery. Candidate will coordinate with IT and administrative departments to support case team requirements for services such as SFTP transfer, securing source code, and war room setup, administer document review databases, including user rights management, database and coding form design, indexing, import/export of fielded data, OCR/extracted text, and metadata, prepare early case reports of load files and raw data using tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, text editors, and LAW, acts as a mentor for more junior members of the department. Position Requirements: must have at least 4+ years of experience in a large law firm or legal environment in progressively more responsible litigation support positions, superior interpersonal and technical writing communication skills, strong service orientation with the ability to develop effective working relationships with others, including legal teams and vendors, and mentees, familiarity with methods to identify duplicates, near duplicates, email threads, and families within document collections, experience in case management to initiate and navigate vendor relationships on cases that may be large or have special needs, proven success as a team leader who will coordinate tasks with others in the department and with vendors, extensive knowledge of multiple document review tools such as Ringtail, Concordance, Relativity, EZReview, or Kroll Ontrack Inview. LiveNote, IPRO, or other similar tools is required, experience supporting tools for case and transcript management such as CaseMap and LiveNote. Candidate should have flexibility to occasionally travel as needed to other offices and trial sites, prior trial experience ideal, Bachelor’s degree required. Litigation Support Analyst – for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for providing litigation technology support to case teams and functions as interface between attorneys, paralegals, internal support groups and outside service providers. Candidate will be the technical expert, conducting data intake and manipulation tasks required by their cases. Some of the duties for this position: Assists attorneys and paralegals to identify discovery document management tools and solutions for transcripts, pleadings and correspondence; prepare plans, schedules and budgets for case support such as document selection, processing, review, production and trial; advises case teams on Firm’s Best Practices for managing electronic discovery, develops working relationships with client-approved vendors, communicates data specifications and requirements effectively, administers document review databases, including user rights management, database and coding form design, indexing, import/export of fielded data, OCR/extracted text, and metadata, manipulates and prepares early case reports of load files and raw data using tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, text editors, dtSearch, and LAW, prepares small document collections for review by processing data using LAW. Also coordinates similar processing for larger collections with outside processing providers, assists with preparation of search strategy for culling of documents based on discussions with legal team and knowledge of query syntax in early case assessment/culling and document review platforms, provides training and support of Firm Software (Ringtail, Concordance, LiveNote, and CaseMap) to legal teams and corporate clients, assists department leadership and other Analysts in preparation of various standardized procedures and materials, participates in presentations and training on various litigation support topics. Position Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a law firm with a thorough understanding of the requirements of litigation support, legal documents, and procedural requirements, trial experience ideal
Excellent communication, organizational, technical writing and interpersonal skills
Strong service orientation and ability to develop effective working relationships with others
Working knowledge of multiple document review tools such as Ringtail, Concordance, IPRO, Relativity, EZReview, or Kroll Ontrack Inview, LiveNote or similar is required
Must be able to support end-users and perform administrative tasks, experience supporting tools for case and transcript management such as CaseMap and LiveNote
Ability to work under pressure and to facilitate solutions
A self-starter with minimal supervision required
Proven ability to learn and adjust to new software without formal training
Flexibility for overtime and/or travel for trials
Salary is commensurate with experience plus paid overtime.
