Application Support Specialist - for prominent law firm in DC.
This position is responsible for the windows desktop and most desktop applications, firm wide, including testing, configurations, and escalated support requests. Candidate will also be responsible for supporting back-end systems related specifically to the desktop. Duties include: Resolving software and desktop issues; basic work on servers, such as Domain Controllers or printer servers; coordinating with external and internal developers and vendors to resolve issues and enhance application capabilities; troubleshooting basic hardware issues; testing/evaluation of new software; recommending standards and procedures for software to the firm's IT leadership; categorization and documentation of software, software configurations, and troubleshooting processes.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience with a law firm managing automated information systems including strategic
planning, analyzing complex issues and difficult systems problems.
• Thorough knowledge of desktop applications, support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations.
• Solid understand of testing processes.
• Knowledge of : Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Desktop applications.
• Experience administering a SCCM environment, managing collections and distributions.
• Experience in large-scale migrations, such as Windows XP to Windows 7.
• Ability to communicate complex systems information and ideas effectively and efficiently to attorneys, managers and staff -
often with minimal preparation

Senior Analyst, Litigation Support – For Highly regarded law firm. This position is responsible for general litigation technology support to case teams and serves as liaison between attorneys, paralegals, internal support groups and outside service providers. Candidate will function as hands-on technical expert, performing data intake and manipulation tasks required by their cases. Some of the duties for this position include: assisting attorneys and paralegals regarding case needs to identify discovery document management tools and solutions for transcripts, pleadings and correspondence. The Senior Analyst will plan, schedule and budget for case specific support such as document collection, processing, review, production and trial; advises case teams on Firm’s Best Practices for managing electronic discovery. Candidate will coordinate with IT and administrative departments to support case team requirements for services such as SFTP transfer, securing source code, and war room setup, administer document review databases, including user rights management, database and coding form design, indexing, import/export of fielded data, OCR/extracted text, and metadata, prepare early case reports of load files and raw data using tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, text editors, and LAW, acts as a mentor for more junior members of the department. Position Requirements: must have at least 4+ years of experience in a large law firm or legal environment in progressively more responsible litigation support positions, superior interpersonal and technical writing communication skills, strong service orientation with the ability to develop effective working relationships with others, including legal teams and vendors, and mentees, familiarity with methods to identify duplicates, near duplicates, email threads, and families within document collections, experience in case management to initiate and navigate vendor relationships on cases that may be large or have special needs, proven success as a team leader who will coordinate tasks with others in the department and with vendors, extensive knowledge of multiple document review tools such as Ringtail, Concordance, Relativity, EZReview, or Kroll Ontrack Inview. LiveNote, IPRO, or other similar tools is required, experience supporting tools for case and transcript management such as CaseMap and LiveNote. Candidate should have flexibility to occasionally travel as needed to other offices and trial sites, prior trial experience ideal, Bachelor’s degree required. Litigation Support Analyst – for prominent global law firm in Washington, DC. Also coordinates similar processing for larger collections with outside processing providers, assists with preparation of search strategy for culling of documents based on discussions with legal team and knowledge of query syntax in early case assessment/culling and document review platforms, provides training and support of Firm Software (Ringtail, Concordance, LiveNote, and CaseMap) to legal teams and corporate clients, assists department leadership and other Analysts in preparation of various standardized procedures and materials, participates in presentations and training on various litigation support topics. Position Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a law firm with a thorough understanding of the requirements of litigation support, legal documents, and procedural requirements, trial experience ideal
Excellent communication, organizational, technical writing and interpersonal skills
Strong service orientation and ability to develop effective working relationships with others
Working knowledge of multiple document review tools such as Ringtail, Concordance, IPRO, Relativity, EZReview, or Kroll Ontrack Inview, LiveNote or similar is required
Must be able to support end-users and perform administrative tasks, experience supporting tools for case and transcript management such as CaseMap and LiveNote
Ability to work under pressure and to facilitate solutions
A self-starter with minimal supervision required
Proven ability to learn and adjust to new software without formal training
Flexibility for overtime and/or travel for trials

Programmer Analyst 3 - DMS – for global law firm in Washington, DC.This position is responsible for designing and programming database- driven solutions for networked and wireless business applications spanning the Firm’s global offices.** The focus for this position is on designing and developing database-driven solutions (applications) and administering to and developing in the SQL Server (2008-2016).Candidates will need experience managing and administering a document manage system, specifically iManage. Experience with Netdocs or iManage cloud would be ideal. Prior experience mapping from a database center to web API's preferred.System development will be accomplished using a wide range of Microsoft tools and products including Visual Studio.Net, MS SQL, and SharePoint. Full lifecycle responsibility, from initial design through implementation, including on-going support, is expected.As part of the application development Team, the successful candidate will consult on, design, program and implement solutions for information management, workflow and knowledge management serving the Firm's practice groups and administrative departments.This includes maintaining and supporting existing internal SharePoint websites and applications, designing and implementing improvements to various systems, and integrating and customizing third-party software within our existing application environment. Position Requirements: Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) for Microsoft .NET preferred, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous law firm or professional services experience a must. 6-8 years’ experience / application development with MS Technologies (ASP.NET, C#, XML/XSL, .NET Frameworks, web services and SQL Server), VB Script and JAVA Script, with demonstrated recent ability to design, develop and deploy business applications. Strong MS SQL and T-SQL skills; experience with SSRS a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Senior Network Engineer (Storage) - for global law firm in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for configuring, maintaining and upgrading network systems, and assisting with long range planning for upgrades and deployment of computer systems. This position requires project planning and coordination start to finish for such. Duties: manage/upgrade NetApp and HP SANs, VMware ESXi 5.5 and 6 virtualization environments firm-wide; production, support, and deployment of new projects for storage and Virtual Environment needs; collect storage requirements and architect appropriate highly available design, troubleshoot performance problems in existing NetApp storage array; provide production support for break fix and performance issues on storage and server infrastructure. Candidate should have strong knowledge of blade infrastructure for server hardware such as Cisco UCS and HP blades. Responsibilities include: Implementation Support - Design, plan, and set up storage in a Windows NetApp SAN environment (disk layout, RAID levels, etc.) to ensure performance and data availability; configure/maintain/upgrade firm wide SAN and VMware capabilities including all applicable applications used for both storage and backup requirements. This position is the designated contact and liaison with third party providers of applications and services and performs storage and server capacity planning, monitoring, and tuning of the infrastructure on a constant basis to improve the performance and responsiveness of the Firm's Enterprise compute and storage infrastructure. Position Requirements: Ideal candidate has advanced level knowledge and experience with NetApp and HP SANs, expert level knowledge and experience with VMware hypervisor version 5.5 and above, advanced knowledge with array based replication (SRA) and SRM. advanced experience with network management tools such as-Riverbed Optnet, Netflow, Wireshark, Cisco Prime, VMware vSphere, vCenter SRM, VCOPS , Microsoft SCCM 2012, etc., highest level experience with Windows Server versions 2008- 2012 R2, 2016 Windows IIS Server 7, highest level competence in the Operating systems in use by the Firm (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008- 2016), expert level competence in configuring, managing and upgrading, load balancing NetApp SANs, snap mirror and snapshot technologies in C-mode and 7 mode, highest level knowledge of Windows Active Directory and related services such as DNS, BIND, DHCP, Group Policy, Kerberos, KCD, and LDAP, Demonstrated experience in utility automation scripting and programming using PowerShell, VBScript, or .NET. Prior law firm experience in an IT support role is required. BS in Computer Science or MIS strong preferred, MCSE with 4-6 years support experience with Microsoft Windows 2003 and later required, Certifications in: NetApp Storage, VMware required, Minimum of NCSA (NetApp Certified Storage Associate), NCDA (NetApp certified Data Administrator) preferred with 4 - 6 years of experience.
